[attr="class","ig"] There!
Finn proudly admired his work, resting his hands on his hips. Like every morning, he had gotten up bright and early, even before the break of dawn, to start baking and preparing today's pastries and café goods - especially those that tended to go quickly, like sandwiches and buns - and just finished neatly arranging them in the café's display, ready to be ordered and eaten.
Now, what's next?
Should he get the coffee machines up and running already? That probably would be wise, working people and students were usually the first customers of the day; especially weekdays, though today was a saturday.
The young man's eyes roamed the empty café, realizing that he still needed to put down the chairs, when his gaze stuck on the clock that adorned the wall opposite of him. 5am already! Time to unlock the doors and officially open for business!
Finnegan produced a key from his apron's pocket and hurried to the entrance, opening the door wide to welcome customers.
Now he had to hurry so L'Eclair was prepared for early risers!
As quickly as he could for a single person, the blond man neatly arranged the chairs inside as well as outside, making sure that every table had it's necessities and was ready for the customers. After about half an hour, he was finally finished with it - but his work wasn't done just yet!
In passing, he switched on the coffee machines so they could heat up and grabbed a white stick of chalk together with the café's chalkboard, the latter of which he placed right outside the door; kneeling down in front to write today's special offers.
By the time he finished, it was 6am. Just in time for patrons.
Satisfied, Finn wiped the sweat off his forehead - getting the café ready was a daily workout he wasn't quite used to yet - and went behind the counter to clean as he waited for his first customers.[break]
