Rae smiled softly to herself as she hooked the OBDII reader to the 2000 Oldsmobile Alreo. The customer's complaint was the check engine light on, and a rough idle, she had an idea of what could be wrong but needed to check first. As the little computer went through it's cycle to bring up the codes Rae pulled over the bigger computer to do a deep scan. The OBDII gave a small chime as it completed it's cycle, the code's it pulled was the read O2 sensor malfunction and cylinder 3 misfire, making her groan. Cylinder 3 has so many different reason's it could be misfiring. So after she hooked up the larger reader to the car she went to the waiting room to tall the customer of her first findings. [break][break]
"So Mr. Crowing, you have 2 issues as of right now. Your rear O2 sensor is malfunctioned, and you have a cylinder 3 misfire, I have your vehicle currently hooked up to the large reader but I'm letting you know right now it could be a few hours before I have a defendant reading for the cause of the misfire. So you may want to head to lunch." she said, basically telling him to leave and come back later. [break][break]
"Oh so you're asking me out huh." Was the response she had gotten from the older man, creeping her out. "No sir. Just then it would be a good idea for you to come back later because you will be here for a long time other wise." She then tried to retreat to her shop when he stopped her again. "Come one Rae, just one date."[break][break]
"No, Mr. Crowing." She said, "My BOYFRIEND wouldn't appreciate it." She then forced her way out into her shop and to the shop phone to call one of the few numbers she had memorized. "Hey Finn, wanna get lunch?" She asked after he answered. "I have a car that I have on the computer and it's going to take time so I now have probably about 3 hours or so before I can do anything. And the owner is being a complete creep." She explained her reasoning for calling him. Once she got off the phone with Finn she then returned to the customer. "Mr. Crowing please leave and come back later when I call, I'm going to be locking up shop for lunch and to let the computer to a deep read on your car." she said ushering him out of her shop, locking up after the both. "Well Finn will be here any minute, please leave.
